Dear Friend:
Thanks for visiting us online. We trust that the information provided here will give you a sense of who we are at FBC Searcy and what we do as a church body. If you have questions, simply call or use our CONNECTION CARD.
FBC Searcy is a Bible-believing group of Christians who are working hard to follow Jesus’ Great Commission found in Matthew 28:19-20 and His Great Commandment found in Matthew 22:37-40. We feel blessed that God has chosen this group of believers to help accomplish His mission for the world.
Whether you have lived in Searcy for thirty minutes, thirty days, or thirty years, we invite you to come by and visit us. We have worship and Bible study opportunities for people of all ages and in all stages of life. And when you visit, we will do our best to make you feel like a part of the family.
Thanks again for visiting our site. Come see us soon and discover why we call FBC Searcy, “A Place to Call Home.”
Blessings,
Every worship service at FBC Searcy is a chance to experience God's presence. We seek to glorify God through real, heartfelt expressions of praise and thanksgiving. That means, through a combination of music and media (including congregational praise, worship choir, soloists, and videos), you will experience God when you worship with us. In addition, our worship services will include a message from God's Word, usually by our pastor, Dr. Brian Whitney.
There are several parking areas available. The main parking Lot is located at the corner of Spruce Street and Center Avenue directly across the street from our Worship Center. Two smaller parking lots are also available; one on Spring Street across from our Family Education Building, and one at the corner of Spruce and Pleasure adjacent to our 3-Story Children and Youth Building. We also have access to a city lot at the corner of Spruce and Center adjacent to our main parking area. Free street parking is also available.
Here are some general instructions about closeness and location of
classes:
Preschool, Senior Adults and Special Ministries - Spring Street Parking
Worship
Center, Children, Youth, Family Ministry Center, and Church Office - Spruce Street Parking
Our Church Office is located at the corner of Pleasure Avenue and Spruce Street on the first floor of our 3-Story Children & Youth Building. During regular office hours, you can enter through the main entrance of the building, but for security reasons, you must ring a bell and wait for assistance. Office Hours are Monday-Thursday, 8am-5pm and Friday, 8am-4pm. All entrances are usually locked during the week but entrances are always available on Sundays, Wednesdays, and during other church events.
Life Group Bible Studies are available for individuals of every age and in every stage of life. They meet on Sunday mornings at 9:15. Our Adult Life Groups are open groups available to anyone, but many are designed for specific age groups.
We sometimes offer other studies that vary in length with topics designed for specific groups (i.e. Women, Parents, etc.).
RightNow Media is another resource available to members and guests for quality Bible studies and videos. See the RightNow Media link for more information.
During the 9:15am Life Group hour there are classes for all ages of
preschoolers, children, and youth.
During the 10:30am Morning Worship there is "Preschool
Worship" for PreK and Kindergarten as well as Teaching Care for birth through 3s. All classes for
preschoolers and children are staffed by dedicated workers with a heart and passion for reaching people
for Christ.
Teaching Care (childcare) is provided for most services and events. In the unlikely
event that Teaching Care or children’s programming is not available for a specific study, we will let you
know in advance.
