Randy is the newest member of the FBC Leadership Team.  He began his ministry with FBC in October of 2024.  Prior to joining the FBC staff, Randy worked in retail management for both Walmart and Hastings Entertainment and served for more than 20 years as the Minister of Worship Arts and Christian Education for a local church.  Randy has been involved in music/worship ministry, outreach, adult education, and children's ministry (including Awana and VBS).

Randy is a graduate of Bald Knob High School and has a BSBA in Administrative and Personnel Management from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, where he was active in the Marching Razorback and Hogwild Bands.

Randy and his wife, Tammy, met at U of A and have been married since 1986.  They have three adult daughters (Katie, Kelly, and Kristen) and a son-in-law (Justin).  They also have four grandchildren who are each special in their own ways.

Randy is a member of the Arkansas Master'Singers and has had the opportunity to serve the Arkansas Baptist State Convention as a consultant for JoyWorks (children's worship arts camp) and PraiseWorks (student worship arts camp). Randy has served on leadership teams and has led various classes for these camps.

An avid record collector and strong supporter of everything Arkansas Razorbacks, Randy finds enjoyment in spending time with kids and grandkids, especially at their happy place, Silver Dollar City.

He has adopted Psalm 150 as the guiding scripture of his life as he sees that worship is a lifestyle we adopt upon our salvation and then live each day from the moment we wake up until we close our eyes at the end of the day.
