Mark began his ministry at FBC Searcy in September of 2022. Prior to serving at FBC Searcy, he worked in youth ministry at several churches in Missouri. He also served with K-Life Ministries, Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA), and Kanakuk Kamps. Mark was raised in a Christian home and in the seventh grade, gave his life to the Lord. Mark’s desire is to lead students to love God and others more in their daily lives.
Mark has a Bachelor of Science in Christian Ministries with an emphasis in Discipleship Ministries from Southwest Baptist University in Bolivar, Missouri. He is also working with New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary to earn his Master of Arts in Christian Education.
He and his wife, Abi met in college and were married in July of 2021. They both enjoy serving the church and the community of Searcy together. They also have a dog named River Boy. If Mark isn’t at church, you can probably find him playing sports, hiking, fishing, hunting, playing board games or cheering on his Missouri Tigers.
